Tides

There's something calming about the sea...

Just after sunset, during a low tide is a great time for low light - long exposure photography. You'll never create two images exactly the same, and the results can be stunning.

End of Days (post one)

I didn't think it was possible, but I did manage to find some use for a couple of old rolls of film.

I entered this image into the local camera club's monthly competition. You should have heard the groans. Less than a year later, the club would only take digital images as competition entries. Gone is the slide projector. Good thing?

1/5/2012 - looking back.... the moans and groans seem funny.  Any guess where we'll be in 2017?  Small cameras are my guess.
