Bell Up

There was a time when I would have submitted a photo like this to a microstock agency. The economy being what it is, things just haven't bounced back. So, I just give away images now.

Distant Places

Like lost memories hidden in my mind.

Shadow and Door

The way the lines fell across the top of the door caught my eye.

Taking Notice

She stopped to catch her breath, and in an instant became aware of her surroundings.

Cafe

It was so nice to be able to get out of the house and hit the road.... a much needed change of perspective.  We were in search of spring wildflowers, but those were few and far between.

The price you pay

Those crazy gas prices surely aren't helping the economy.

We're off to chase down some wildflowers and capture spring, all before it fades away.

Along the waves

I've been trying to get out a little more and make images.... something by which to remember a year which is rapidly passing by...

33 Million People in the Room

I read a lot of tech books, both about how to do things and about current trends.  As you can imagine a lot of these books are very dry, and often tedious reads.

That's not the case with 33 Million People in the Room.  The book does an outstanding job of explaining the rise of social media, and gives interesting, concrete examples of how it's changing the world.

Though some of the numbers need to be updated in regard to users of particular social media outlets (things change quickly), all the examples given speak volumes, and provide a unique insight into the changing digital world.

Taking Shortcuts

The nice thing about not knowing where you're going, is that you'll never know when you get there.

Old Media

The era of being spoon fed a bunch of drivel, and biased opinions is over.

Engage your audience or perish.

Storm on the horizon

We couldn't drive fast enough to avoid it....

Take me back

What a crazy day.... the road took me everywhere.... from cloud bursts in the desert to snow in the mountains... all the while I'm thinking of ways to get back home.

Clear Roads

It wasn't about the journey, it was about what we learned along the way.

Trip stop

The best camera is the one you have with you.... not because you can create wonderful images, but because you can capture bits of life through the journey.
