Danger
He who learns but does not think, is lost!
He who thinks but does not learn is in great danger....

Hospice
Time runs out for us all, and that's when most of us realize life's about how we lived until the very end.

Winter, again
Winter is knocking at the door
the weather is cooling down
snow falls, and rain pours
nature's closing season abounds
the weather is cooling down
snow falls, and rain pours
nature's closing season abounds

Strength
Sometimes all our energy will be focused on getting and staying healthy.
It takes lots of strength, but in the end we do get through it.

The media
The media no longer even attempts at pretending that it's objective....
let's hope that resistance isn't futile.

Creepy
We've turned the holidays into a creepy perversion of spending and consuming....
gone is the the true meaning behind them.
gone is the the true meaning behind them.

The worlds we build
The worlds we build for ourselves take us from dust to dust,
far removed from living, hidden within thin walls, ready to collapse

Aging away
All our superpowers faded into obscurity like us,
until we were nothing but little puffs of dust....

Life's Treasures
The real treasure in life is that it is continuous growth. We are not stagnant beings and the more enlightened we become, the more positive energy we possess, the more we have to give the world we inhabit.

Aging Infrastructure
One of the more pressing challenges we face is dealing with our aging infrastructure. We keep ignoring it, which will prove to be a big mistake. Our future depends on having adequate infrastructure to support the technological shift we find ourselves in. If we don't address this issue soon, we're looking economic collapse at worst, or one giant leap backward at best.

Lurking in disguise
Watching minutes tick away
wondering if I've wasted today
almost tired enough to close my eyes
to dream about you lurking in disguise
wondering if I've wasted today
almost tired enough to close my eyes
to dream about you lurking in disguise

Double Speak
When you're told that your new software won't do what the old would,
it's time to seek out the man behind the curtain and make them accountable

Smells like death
We need to face the things that need letting go of,
let them wither and die so renewal can begin....
