If we can weather the storms of life
it will add just a pinch of adventure

Seeing the future

Seeing the future by Damian Gadal
Seeing the future, a photo by Damian Gadal on Flickr.
The future is not for us to know. Circumstance is poison that we must swallow and try to give meaning to, nothing else.

Time forgets us sooner or later, and we're all left behind.... to fade away, to die

I went for a walk to set my mind free
to get away from troubles bothering me
and remove myself from blind absurdity

When we forget

When we forget why we're here
the days ahead become unclear
death waiting year after year
as we pass the time living in fear

Fading Lives

Each day passing there's just a little less
each of us becoming ash and dust
fading lives of former selves

Take it slow

Take it slow if you can
seize moments of magic
and make them yours
as all will pass and be gone
like the moment of your existence

never to be put back together
age and time take us away

It's time the erases us
by each minute we breathe
wasting away into never
were, or will be
lost to the cosmos
is all we thought and did
and our love too
