Life's Treasures
The real treasure in life is that it is continuous growth. We are not stagnant beings and the more enlightened we become, the more positive energy we possess, the more we have to give the world we inhabit.

Aging Infrastructure
One of the more pressing challenges we face is dealing with our aging infrastructure. We keep ignoring it, which will prove to be a big mistake. Our future depends on having adequate infrastructure to support the technological shift we find ourselves in. If we don't address this issue soon, we're looking economic collapse at worst, or one giant leap backward at best.

Lurking in disguise
Watching minutes tick away
wondering if I've wasted today
almost tired enough to close my eyes
to dream about you lurking in disguise
wondering if I've wasted today
almost tired enough to close my eyes
to dream about you lurking in disguise

Double Speak
When you're told that your new software won't do what the old would,
it's time to seek out the man behind the curtain and make them accountable
it's time to seek out the man behind the curtain and make them accountable

Smells like death
We need to face the things that need letting go of,
let them wither and die so renewal can begin....
let them wither and die so renewal can begin....

Predictable
They say that predictable is preventable,
and by all measures it is, and yet...
we still stumble along behind our own folly
and by all measures it is, and yet...
we still stumble along behind our own folly

Death Dreams
Death came peacefully in my dreams, again
whispering my name over and over....
it beckoned, soon my friend, soon
we depart for other realms
whispering my name over and over....
it beckoned, soon my friend, soon
we depart for other realms

Connected World
Our world is connected, bit by bit, and in bytes too,
and yet somehow we can't bridge our differences...
and yet somehow we can't bridge our differences...

Sound Connections
Behind our backs we hear the hiss, stuttering contempt
jagged edges of forgotten times and places....
broken connections with the past, times no longer sound
jagged edges of forgotten times and places....
broken connections with the past, times no longer sound

Good News
Take nothing for granted
and look for the good in life....
especially in a culture
that dwells on the bad....

that dwells on the bad....

Keep Trying
It's easier said than done, but the reality is true...
if you don't keep trying your dreams are out of reach
if you don't keep trying your dreams are out of reach

Meaningless Elections
There was a time when elections meant something,
when they shaped the future and gave us direction.
Those days are over, leaving more of the same....
an expected outcome, from "leaders" who've sold their souls,
such is the nature of corruption, such is the world today.
when they shaped the future and gave us direction.
Those days are over, leaving more of the same....
an expected outcome, from "leaders" who've sold their souls,
such is the nature of corruption, such is the world today.
