Drought
Still no rain and what little water there is, you have to look for. California's back country is dry. The recent wildfires are sure to bring some mudslides and reek additional fire related havoc. Must be the season of the witch...

On the edge
Is an image able to communicate something with just a few elements? That was the question the other night at a photography workshop. I've never given it too much thought, but took it more or less for granted that it can.Most of the photographers there agreed. What got really interesting was the discussion on what visual communication says, and how it says it.
