Golden Arches

For a long time, I've had the goal of using off camera flash at sunset to make some images. This is my first serious attempt at doing that. I used this stone wall as my model.

No power to run the computers, so I guess it's a good time to hang out with the cats. :-)

Until we dream of life and life becomes a dream

I tend to photograph the same spots over and over again. Two reasons, really, one is that I haven't been able to travel in ages, and the second is that the spots that I do photograph are always full of surprises.

The sun is starting to work in my favor. Great time of year for silhouettes...

All down the line

Water makes for a nice canvas on which to capture abstract visions of the world.

Where there was a castle

The late afternoon light was near perfect, and finding a sand castle eroding on the beach made for a nice foreground. All in all, stopping by the beach was a blessing. A good day to make some images.
