The self inflected death of a state
from illusions of grandeur

Dreams interrupted in restless fits
broken by stops and starts....
as visions come and go, a haunting
between dark and light...

We spared the dawn from being wasted
and danced to the big beat of no tomorrow

Life is a vibrant expression of love and wonder, if we chose to see it that way.

Time passes in the blink of an eye, and the next thing you know is that you're out of gas and the journey's over.

We're all on our way towards our final destination, the last stop.

We left the past in shambles,
there was nothing else to do,
but leave it behind and move on
