we make excitement to keep ourselves amused

distracted from the world

strangers to ourselves

Dreams are like ships

big, with many destinations

that eventually sink

when the journey

comes to an

end

sail into the future

unencumbered

no boxes of the past

left behind

the one certain thing about life

is that it's nothing more than

a collection of odd moments

and twists and turns

that drop out of nowhere

Big ideas are like seeds,

they can grow into wonderful things

dream big

and make it so

tis better to try

and not try at all

we find ourselves

at odds with the world

making places

to fit in

rather than just be

what we're meant to be
