We're told what to believe

but the truth is another matter

ours to discover

Life is messy

though we do our best

we can't always

keep the mess at bay

A chance meeting changed the world

like a stone tossed in a pond

ripples spread out across time

When we learn to see our true selves

all becomes clear

We can go far when the need be

Planning is good

it helps us accomplish things

flexibility lets us get things done

Not all journeys end the way we expect
