Though we reach out,

seldom do we truly connect

The perfect hiding spot is always in plain sight

Iris knew the city would be a good place to hide,

the trick was blending in.....

The Lieutenant was obsessed

murder was on his mind

as was the ghost of Iris Philips

After the Senator's attorney left,

the Lieutenant sat for a long while...

he stared out the police station window....

each piece of the puzzle pointed in one direction,

he had to find Iris Phillips

The past will haunt you

your last connection

before fading to nothing

Iris knew they'd meet again....

only, it would be in the afterlife
