Honesty is refreshing

Keeping your feet on the ground

won't get you anywhere

It's our perspective

not reality

that we filter the world through

Though we parted long ago

we will always be together

Iris got lost in the city

by design

she blended in with the decay

Humanity is bound for destruction

it's our prime directive

there's no avoiding it

The past and present

crossroads of today

never meeting

as they don't exist
