We are irrational

moving with emotion

absolved from responsibility

Truth isn't a matter of belief

When we let clowns run things,

we should expect a circus

To find peace

stopping is a start

letting go to fill the void

we find ourselves alone

only one again

at the very end

It's joy

and the beauty of life

in every subtle instant

something shared

something felt

deep within the soul

that gets us through the days

broken hearted

overwhelmed
grateful and hurt

never the same

My dreams evade me

leaving behind a void

never to be filled

We lost Punky on June 6th

It was sudden and unexpected

she was pure joy

so loving and affectionate

one of life's true blessings
