Each journey is unique

like each grain of sand

worlds unto themselves
we just vessels passing through

The land of milk and honey

comes to an end

when we fail to believe

There's always something in the distance

let it beckon not

Where we find ourselves

is of no consequence

left alone

we all can come clean

We fool ourselves

thinking we're going somewhere

The future is a gamble

no safe bets on tomorrow

our real treasure is today
