My hour is almost come
When I to sulph'rous and tormenting flames

Doomed for a certain term to walk the night,

Masts


I've been hoping to get out and do some sunrise shots like this one, but haven't been blessed with anything other than fog in the morning.

I'm overdue in getting some morning shots, and a different perspective on the coast.

Shouldn't be too much longer...

Lost in a golden moment


Getting out and making images is essential to getting better at it. Practice helps in most of life's endeavors.

In a case like this, given the time of year and the weather conditions, you can predict the direction and quality of light.

With enough practice, you should be able to get the results you want through adjusting the shutter speed and aperture.

Find a composition you like, and with the push of a button, you're set.
