we toil through the days

forgetting who we are

and why we're here

We live in a world of make believe

never seeing the world really

and that's our tragedy

At the moment of our conception

the seeds of our death are planted

this is the foundation of our life

just unknown places

where you'll find yourself

looking back

the tragedy is that we let life pass us by

while we ponder how to live it

The days pass quickly

so soon forgotten

outside the shells of ourselves

Remember that history repeats

the mighty always fall

and it takes courage to carry on
