The peace we seek

needs to come from within

We live behind masks

never really knowing

who we are

We need to stop what we're doing from time to time

and take in the world around us

Our world reflects what's within

Youth know only the future we make for them

Remember that growth requires rain

and that the storms of life will pass

The moments of our lives

recordings that fade off

into oblivion
