Behind the colours

I made it to the parade.... proved to be as challenging as ever.  Even though I got there early an more or less had full access to the parade participants, and had brought along my flash, my shy and nervous nature got the best of me.  I only took a few shots before the parade, such as this one.

One thing I've got to learn is to take my time (as much as is permitted) and take advantage of a great shooting opportunity.
