If this doesn't say something about the times... Well, I guess I could be more explicit, show a photo of a corpse or something. The point is, we often forget that photography documents the times we live in.
The moment we push the shutter, we've frozen whatever was in front of the lens in time. I often take grab shots like this to remind me of things, places, situations, etc.
It's not until I go back and look at my images years later that any sense of nostalgia, history, whatever you want to call it, start to resonate.
And that's one of the subtle powers of photography... It's ability to speak from the past.
