Political Candidate

Political Candidate by Damian Gadal
Sometimes you just have to wonder who's running the country.  If politicians had the best interests of the country in mind, we wouldn't be where we are today.

I forced myself out of the house to capture some images of summer before it's over.

Ready for seating

Ready for seating by Damian Gadal
Trying to match interior and exterior light is a challenge, especially on an overcast day. This shot probably would have turned out better had it been taken around dusk.

The barrel distortion is another issue that needs to be addressed.

End of an era

End of an era by Damian Gadal
End of an era, a photo by Damian Gadal on Flickr.
What's sad isn't the end of the shuttle program, we knew that would end eventually.... What's sad is the fact that there's nothing to replace it....

Once our beacon

Once our beacon by Damian Gadal
This started out as a photograph.... and yet I ended up with this. The point is, don't take freedom for granted, or it'll just fade away.

Google Plus

I'm really looking forward to getting a google plus account. Really, there's got to be an alternative to Facebook, something for adults to use, and something that's useful and functional (something you can't say about FB).

Yesterday's Freedom

Yesterday's Freedom by Damian Gadal
I'm not so sure we're really all that free anymore. I've thought about this a lot lately, and it seems we may be celebrating something we no longer have.

Shadow Ramp

Shadow Ramp by Damian Gadal
It's been so long since I'd focused in on small details, that I thought it time to get back to a little more abstract work.
