The car show was a lot of fun. I captured a lot of great images, and ran into an old friend.

Being able to get out and capture images is always a welcome endeavor.

I'd say this isn't really the kind of energy we can depend on.  I wouldn't build a future on this type of technology alone.

I should have stopped

Well, Lightroom has gotten me motivated to go back and process images that have been sitting on my hard drive for some time. The jury is still out on whether or not it's increasing my efficiency.

Lonely Heart

This is by far one of my most popular images on Flickr...... it's just something I stumbled upon while I was out shooting out in some some sand dunes. The image is hardly in focus, but I guess it's the title and sentiment that resonates with people.

This tells me that I should actually stage and image like this and do a much better job of capturing it.

Taking a look

I decided to process some images through Lightroom instead of Photoshop. It's an abrupt change to my workflow, that may or may not prove to be a more productive way to get through images.

It's too early to tell right now.

Step it up

I ended up with way more pictures of dancers than I ever intended to take, so I thought I'd put together a stop motion type of video with them.

It turned out to be a fun project, though it didn't turn out exactly as expected.

It also took 3 hours to put together something that runs just under a minute.

Not the type of project to start unless you have the time to work on it.
