It seems that anyone who knew Iris Phillips didn't like her.
Emily, the housekeeper, hated her. She told the Lieutenant that Iris
had been to the estate many times in the last month.
Emily also felt that Iris was a wicked woman who'd upset the old man.
Emily believed that Iris was after the Senator's money and would have done anything to get it.
