Elections bring into focus just how much we've lost as a nation. We've given away our jobs, our pride, our freedom. We've done this by chasing dollars in order to fill voids with objects and material things.
If there is a way to turn things around, it has to start with taking a long hard look at ourselves, and changing who we've become to who we want to be.
