Boats and Water

For me, the best way to make some interesting nautical images is to use as few elements as possible. Find something simple if you can. Look for lines, shapes, and patterns, the basic elements of what you're trying to convey.

An image of a crowded harbor is just that, and yet it's filled with elegance and beauty waiting to be photographed. If you look around, something should speak to you visually and that is a good place to start.
