Toss Up

If you ever want to challenge yourself, try photographing people in colorful costumes dancing at night with no flash.

It can be done but your results are going to depend on a lot of factors, such as: How close can you get to the subject, type of lens you use, and how much you can bump up the ISO before you start to get noise.

A couple of other things: you will need a tripod and some patience.

The patience will come in handy if you're working in a crowd, as you WILL no doubt have people in front of you walking through your shot, or just standing up in front of the lens.

Remember it's dark, so be careful. And most of all, enjoy yourself.
